Thanks for reaching out, and I completely understand how frustrating it can be to constantly switch profiles just to use the tools you need for work. As checked, you currently have an active enterprise plan and an individual plan linked to the Adobe ID you used for this query. Your Acrobat license is assigned to your business account, while Illustrator is linked to your personal account.
Because these plans are under different profiles, you’re required to switch profiles each time you want to access either application, and unfortunately, they can’t be used simultaneously for this reason.
Since both subscriptions are meant for your work, one possible solution is to cancel your individual Illustrator plan and ask your organization or admin to purchase an Illustrator license under the same enterprise contract. Once that’s done and the license is assigned to your business account, you’ll be able to use both Acrobat and Illustrator seamlessly—without the need to switch profiles.
