Not being able to see my old adobe portfolio website in the editing section after I regained access to my school adobe account.

I recently lost access to my school adobe account and my adobe portfolio. I contacted my school IT and was granted access back but my school Adobe account but portfolio website is no longer visible on my edit page. I have no access or view of it. Is there anyway I can retrieve the information and my website back so I can transfer it to my new personal account? I got an email stating "Hi, We're contacting you as our records show that your organization administrator has closed your Business ID, which means you can no longer access your Portfolio from that Profile. To ensure your work is not lost, we automatically migrated your Portfolio to its authenticating Enterprise/Federated ID: [school email]. Im not sure what it means. I just want to get my portfolio website back so I can transfer it. The original website url is still says it is in use but my access to it is completely gone. Please advise!

    Hi @helpful_impressionbc39,

Checking in to see if you had a chance to submit the request for your Portfolio site, and whether it went through alright. If anything came up while doing so, feel free to reach out here and I'll be glad to help.

    Thanks,

    Hi @helpful_impressionbc39,

Thank you for reaching out, and we're sorry for the stress this has caused. Losing access to a Portfolio site you've put real work into is frustrating, especially when the URL still shows as active but you can no longer open it to edit.

Here's what the email meant: when your school administrator closed the Business ID tied to your school account, that profile lost its entitlements and can no longer sign in to Adobe services, including Portfolio. To keep your site from being deleted, it was automatically moved to the Enterprise/Federated ID on your school email.

Portfolio does have a self-service option to move a site to a personal account, but it only works while you can still sign in to the source profile, and it doesn't support accounts tied to a Federated ID. Since your site now sits on the Federated ID and the Business ID is closed, this can't be completed from the editing page on your end. A case like yours needs to be handled by our Portfolio team directly.

The best next step is to submit a request here: https://adobe.ly/4i7xprq

Please include the exact Portfolio site URL, the school email the site was migrated to, and the personal email you'd like it moved to. That gives the team what they need to locate your site and look into the transfer for you.

Please let us know how it goes, we're happy to help further.

    Thanks,
    ^AV
