Package installation

I'm a teacher, needing to upgrade our software. Last week, an Adobe customer care person started to help me and we realized I needed some sites white listed. It was way easier for my school to just turn off the filtering for my classroom today, when no students are present. I had left the window open where I selected the programs I wanted, so this morning, I was able to download the package. When I double click to open the .pkg file, it runs the trouble shooting which comes back saying The installation failed (encountered an error that caused install to fail, contact software mfg for assistance). Any suggestions on what I can do over the weekend instead of taking precious class time next week?

Hi there,

Do you see an error code with the message when the installation fails? If yes, then kindly share that with us.

You may check the log files to find the error message, to know how to do that please see: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-download-install-logs.html.

You need to contact your school's IT Department for assistance.

Meanwhile, I'm moving this discussion to Enterprise & Teams forum.
