Question

PDF Resolution

I am looking into on-line publishing and one of the companies says that PDF documents submitted for printing

should have pictures scanned at 300 DPI and text at 600 DPI. A lot of my pages have both pictures and text

I am using Windows Vista and have Adode Reader 8 installed.

If I create a PDF file in windows word, will it meet these requirements? If not, can I do it with Adobe Reader?

Also, I can find now way to identify or change the resolution of a PDF file in either product.

Thanks.

Barrett

Hi Fairfaxman,

You're posting to the wrong forum, but I can tell you that Adobe Reader is only for reading PDFs, not creating them. Try a forum for your Microsoft product.
