Question

Permissions error for students working remotely?

I received a help request from a student working remotely who was trying to install the Adobe software and got an error message that she did not have “access to manage preferences for Syncing. Permission from your IT administrator may be required.”

I forwarded this to our IT support team but it occured to me this might be a local admin issue on her home computer. Can you advise?

Hello,

It seems that file sync option is disabled on her machine. Kindly enable "filepanel" tag from serviceconfig file which might fix the issue. The location of the file is mentioned below:

> Windows: C:> program files x86> common files> Adobe > OOBE> configs

> Mac: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/configs

Please close all the running services and applications of creative cloud before making the changes using task manager (Windows) / Activity Monitor(Mac).

You can restart the machine as well.

I am having the same issue, but I'm on a Mac.

I was having an issue accessing Adobe Fonts through my Las Virgenes Unified School District account and I was switched to an Adobe ID from rather than a District Federated ID.

I used to be able to access the whole suite, and have now lost all access.

Anything to be done there?

Thanks!

Kindly confirm if you are not able to access Adobe fonts or the complete suite of the creative cloud.
