Please confirm whether Acrobat Pro FRL licensing is calculated based on: Current active devices 200, Activated devices 100, Concurrent usage 50, Historical activations 400, Or another licensing metric?

Based on our observations, we are unable to reconcile the following figures:

  • Adobe LAN Server Dashboard: 200/100 Licenses Used
  • Adobe LAN Server spring.log: usage = 50
  • Intune Acrobat DC - FRL installations: 75 devices
  • Adobe Admin Console Directory Users: 25 users
  • Adobe Admin Console Acrobat Pro FRL: 2 of 100 devices

    Hi @Pav1995,

    Thanks for laying this out so clearly, and we understand how important it is to get these license figures reconciled when they're not lining up across the LAN Server, Intune, and the Admin Console.

    Reconciling Feature Restricted Licensing counts means looking directly at your organization's entitlements and deployment on the account backend, which is done through a support case that you can open through the Admin Console > Support, and we'll get this traced for you.

    When you open the case, include exactly what you've shared here: the LAN Server dashboard reading, the spring.log usage value, your Intune install count, and the Admin Console device figures. That will let us pinpoint where the discrepancy is coming from right away.

    Please don't hesitate to follow up here if you have any questions in the meantime.

    Thanks,
    ^AV

    @Pav1995

    with a teams or enterprise subscription you should be posting in https://community.adobe.com/questions-624

    and you should use use your console to ask for help, https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/support-for-enterprise.html

    Thank you @kglad . You are correct, I should use adminconsole and ask enterprise support. I was trying to gauge insight from wider Adobe community to see how FRL Lic works, mainly, is it concurrent or based on devices Acrobat Pro is installed on. I see wide range of no, within adobe.com and in-house Lic Server and whether spring.log would contain the actual usage.

    it probably varies by license, but if you want to poll other admins, use the e&t forum.
