Portfolio - Website doesn't show up on Google etc

Hi, I've deleted my old website a while ago and created a new one, with a new domain name and all (not a bought one, just ".portfolio.com"). However, when i google (it should basically just show up when I search for my name) it doesn't come up. And for some reason my old website keeps showing up and is of course leading nowhere when I click on the link (since it has been deleted). I don't get what's wrong, I thought I ticked all the boxes in the setting etc, but... --- I don't know anything about how stuff like that works, so help would be very much appreciated!
