I downloaded Premire pro from the creative cloud that I have access to through college, and it pinged my AVG antivirus with a Trojan embeded in the install. Has anyone else exprienced this or is there a way to report this?

Hi @caleb_7933,

Thanks for reaching out.

If you downloaded Premiere Pro directly through the official Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app, it's highly unlikely that the installer contains malware. Adobe applications are digitally signed, verified, and distributed securely via Adobe’s official servers. However, false positives can occasionally be triggered by third-party antivirus programs such as AVG.

Upon reviewing your account, it appears you're using an active enterprise plan through your college. In this case, I recommend contacting your institution's system administrator and requesting a fresh installation package.

It's a false positive.

ame.app.ru_RU.dat is a safe Adobe file.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
