Problems with AI in Photoshop

Photoshop says that I don’t have an internet connection to use this feature. I can’t use image generation, increase file size, or generate backgrounds and so on.
How can I fix this issue? Why is this problem occurring?

Hi @Cavahir25947170ubjb,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing the screenshot. This issue usually occurs in Photoshop when AI features (such as Generative Expand, background generation, or upscaling) cannot connect to Adobe’s servers.

Please try the following steps:

Sign out and back in
In the Creative Cloud Desktop app or Photoshop, sign out of your Adobe account and then sign back in.

Switch to another internet network
Try using a different internet connection to rule out firewall or network restrictions.

Configure your software firewall
Temporarily disable your firewall to check if it is causing the problem:
Windows: https://adobe.ly/4gEztEk
macOS: https://adobe.ly/42IqrAo

Check internet and firewall
Make sure your computer is connected to the internet without VPN or proxy restrictions. Some firewalls or security software may block Photoshop from reaching Adobe servers. Ensure that the required Adobe endpoints are allowed:

Test secure server connectivity
Ensure you can connect to Adobe servers:
https://adobe.ly/46C7MaG

Reset the hosts file
If the issue persists, reset your hosts file and then try logging in again:

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you need further assistance.
