Prompting for Adobe ID

Hi all!

Another Problem we have:

We installed Adobe CC on 103 client computers, nearly all of them worked fine but a handful of them (five or six machines) were asking for an Adobe ID.

(We use client-based licensing, we bought 103 clients, they normally all work without an Adobe ID)

We solved the problem by a complete new deplyoment of the machine (windows 7 clients, deployed using PXE-boot and WDS). Within our school this works very fast (within 45 minutes the client setup is completed) and normally it solved the problem.

After this the Adobe CC Applications ran without asking for an Adobe ID (as it was so on all other machines).

But now I have this problem with a student-computer where a complete new setup of the machine is not so easy (installing all other stuff including Microsoft Office and so on... )

Uninstalling the Adobe CC Package and reinstalling it did not change anything.

Could I solve the problem creating a license file or license package which I could create with the creative cloud packager?

Or is there any other possibility for disabling the request for the adobe id?

(we have an other license contract for our students, it works on 45 other machines well but not on this one... )

thanks in advance for any hint...

Harald

It sounds like you are using device licensing, is that correct?

I think that this machine has some other software that the user may have signed in to or signed in via the web which is affecting your device license.

I would advise uninstalling the software, then running the CC cleaner tool to clean up licensing information then reinstalling.

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
