Re: Creative Cloud throwing 205 and A12E5 errors

We have exactly the same problem here. We are a french school of Design, equipped with a very fast network (gigabit local, and 100 Mbit fiber internet line).

Impossible to download anything using Adobe Creative Cloud Packager. Error A12E5. We have tried everything tip we found on the internet : Reset or delete OOBE files, uninstalling everything and starting from scratch, Adove Cleaner tool (that don't find anything to uninstall, btw) etc.

Our network is working like a charm and don't have a single problem of stability... We only have a proxy server set in OSX preferences that has always worked well with CS ( that we usually downloaded from Adobe Licensing website ) installed using Adobe AAMEE.

With CC that's another story : When starting Creative Cloud Packager, we are unable to even start the process. Error A12E5 comes instantly. And we are unable to get rid of the proxy since we are a School with more than 1000 users... We can't unplug the Proxy-firewall just to make a try... Proxy server can't be the problem anyway since it's correctly set in OSX preferences...

So I am creating our install package at home ( ! ) : Tons and tons of Gigabytes to download on a 4mbit line.

And we fear the next update process that will surely fail with error A12E5... !!!!!!

    Correct answer Ashubijalwan1

is it an automated answer made by a robot ?

    crazy...

I just said CCP don't work because of the "A12E5" error. We have troubleshooted everything that could be troubleshot. Proxy is fine and correctly configured.

We can't deploy anything because we can't create any package.

And i was asking if we can still use AAMEE (your link), which is for CS6/5/4, not CC

(additionnal question : where can we get CC packages to use with the AAMEE tool)

Could you please try steps mentioned in below article and let us know if this helps. Most of the times A12E5 occurs due to network securities but it seems you have validated the proxy for Adobe creative cloud packager.

Error A12E5 installing Creative Cloud products

    Thanks,

Branching this to a separate discussion and moving the discussion to the Enterprise Deployment for Creative Cloud, Creative Suite.

Egaille if you are facing downloading errors on your managed network then please ask your I.T. department to review the Adobe Creative Cloud Service Access Documentation for IT section of http://www.adobe.com/devnet/creativesuite/enterprisedeployment.html.

On that page (offical Adobe help page) it is clearly said that former AAMEE users (like us) shouldn't use AAMEE anymore, but CCP (creative cloud packager)  instead...

    So what ?

Egaille the connection document is relevant to Creative Cloud users.  The use of AAMEE or CCP is irrelevant to being able to connect and download successfully due to access restrictions.
