Question

Re: Profile deletion

I have a similar question. I have a Business and Personal profile. I would like to delete the Personal profile as it serves no purpose now. I beleive it was auto-created when I purchased access to an app, which I have cancelled. This caused as issue accessing the enterprise CC license apps attached to the Business profile. I don't want to bump into this again. Deleting the Personal profile should accomplish that. Thanks for any insights!

You can enable "Automatic profile selection" and at sign-in we'll automatically select the most suitable profile. So if you sign-in to Photoshop and the licence is only from the business, it'll skip the profile selection and select the business profile automatically. Same thing with CC Desktop app etc.

To turn automatic profile selection on or off, do the following:

  1. Sign in to your Adobe Account with your email and password.
  2. Go to Account and security > Sign-in and security.
  3. Turn On the Select my profile automatically option.

The Personal and the Business IDs are different and never conflicts if both the accounts are configured properly. I would recomend not to delete the Personal ID as it might impact the business ID which is set up with the same account.
