Reactivate a deactivated device

I work with PCs and I'm trying to find out how to reactivate a deactivated device. Yes, I have read the instructions here Reactivation of Archived machines in Device licensing but find them unclear. They tell me to "Copy the prov.xml for device license to the same folder as the extracted adobe_prtk tool". So where do I find the prov.xml file or how do I generate it?

Hi,

The prov.xml is generated when you create a license file. See https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/package/help/create-license-file.html

Hi, I went to the folder where the license file was created and to no avail locating 'prov.xml' file. I even did a search on teh whole computer. Nothing comes up. Would you be able to help please. Thanks.
