Recquest: offering a verified professional tier or audit system for artists with the use of Firefly
As a professional photographer and visual artist, I have been using Adobe Photoshop for years, and recently also Firefly. I truly appreciate the creative potential your tools offer. However, I'm encountering serious limitations that are preventing me from using Firefly in a meaningful way for my professional work.
My work includes fine art portraiture, maternity photography, and boudoir — all fully legal and artistic forms of expression, with no explicit or inappropriate content. Still, Firefly consistently blocks prompts and images that feature artistic nudity, pregnant bodies, or even subtly sensual compositions, even when nothing is actually visible or offensive.
I understand and support the need for safety measures. However, the lack of nuance, context, or the option for verification or manual review makes Firefly almost unusable for serious creative professionals like myself.
I kindly request the following:
Please consider offering a verified professional tier or audit system, where artists can validate their identity (e.g., via portfolio, VAT/KvK registration, Behance profile).
Allow more flexibility for verified users within ethical boundaries, especially when working with artistic, non-explicit human forms.
Provide more transparency about blocked prompts or images, and offer users the opportunity to clarify or revise.
As a paying customer, it's frustrating not to be able to use a product I've invested in — especially when I’m using it with integrity and artistic intent.
I hope Adobe is willing to explore ways to better serve the professional creative community. I’d be more than happy to contribute to any solution or testing process.
