Recreate Azure Connection - what to consider

We are using Federated IDs and are synchronising the Adobe Adminconsole with Azure AD. Now there seem to be some problems and we want to delete the current setup and do it anew. This process should not take more than 20-30 minutes.

Do we have to consider anything in general? What happens to the users that are using or trying to start Adobe Applications in those minutes, where we have no synchronisation?

Will the recreation of the connection delete all users in the Adobe Adminconsole?

Can we create the new synchronisations before deleting the old one?
