Removal of license accidently purchased

 I logged on to Adobe Website for the first time to purchase license of a team member, guy that used to do has left the company. Purchased the license only to find he already had one.

Adobe quite happy to increase # of licenses but have not been able to find how to reduce # of licenses.

I do not need this license, should not have purchased it, how do I remove it and keep to our current number???

I have left message at admin support, but not response back after 1.5 hours.
