Question

Replicating settings across multiple computers

I am deploying CS6 Design Standard over to about 200 workstations and I need to be able to replicate the same color settings, same workspaces, general settings to all of them.

Does anyone has a list of files containing these settings that need to be copied over?

It looks like the list has slightly changed from the previous CS suites and I am having a bit of a hard time identifying all of them.

Thank you much.

Hi Cserban3 - wish that I were posting a solution for you, but am unfortunately in the same boat.  I've been trying to find an answer to the same question, and have had no luck thus far.  Sounds like you had a solution for prior CS editions - would you mind sharing what you used to do?  Perhaps it could give me something to work from...

    Thanks!

I usually set up one machine with all the settings then copy the settings files (spanned across multiple locations) and save them on the server.

Then build a script that would deploy them on the target machines over writting the old files thus forcing a standard approved settings package.

Send me a an message with your personal email and I can forward you the script.
