Dear Adobe Customer Support,

I am writing to request your urgent assistance regarding an auto debit mandate linked to my Maybank account for my previous Adobe subscription.

I cancelled the Adobe auto debit (managed via Pacific Trustees Berhad) through my Adobe account on 19 July 2023, and my Adobe service was scheduled to end on 21 July 2023. However, despite the cancellation, my Maybank account still shows the debit mandate as active, with an approved limit of RM30,000.

This situation is causing serious concern, as it creates the possibility of future deductions without my authorization. Because the mandate remains active, I am hesitant to deposit funds into this account.

I kindly request the Removal of any remaining debit authorization issued through Adobe or Pacific Trustees Berhad to Maybank.

Please assist in ensuring this issue is resolved as soon as possible.
I would greatly appreciate your prompt attention.
Thank you.

Hi @Jun XianLee,

Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry to hear about the concern this has caused.

To clarify, Adobe does not directly control or manage bank-side auto debit mandates after a subscription is cancelled. When you cancelled your plan in July 2023, Adobe stopped billing from our end, but some banks continue to display the previously authorized mandate until the customer requests removal through the bank or payment provider.

Since your Adobe subscription ended and no further charges can be initiated from our systems, the remaining mandate shown in Maybank is only a bank-side authorization record.

To remove this authorization completely, you will need to contact Maybank or Pacific Trustees Berhad directly and request cancellation of the mandate on their end. They can remove or deactivate the authorization immediately.

Hope this answer your query. let us know if you need further assistance.

Regards,
^AN
