Retire from school so losing CC-license, how to change to a private license ?

For many years I have a CC-license via the school where I work. Soon I will retire and then my school CC-license will expire. As I want to keep using CC the license I have from school needs to be changed to a private license. I’ve searched the web but couldn’t find the necessary steps for this transition. Can you tell me which steps I (and the school ?) should take, and in which order ? I‘m a bit anxious about this as I use CC on a daily basis and I don’t want to loose any data.

I think it's easier than I thought. What I should do is buy a personal CC-license and with that license I can use the apps on my computer.

@Carol37974914coan read this before doing anything to make sure you don't lose any files in the transition process:

Hi @Carol37974914coan

Thanks for contacting us.

As you have mentioned in your second comment, you need to buy a personal CC-license and with that license you can use the apps on your computer.

That's correct. Some tipps:

  1.  If you are still a student/teacheryou can ask for a student/teacher licence. that will be valid for at least a year.
  2. If you have cloud data, you need to transfer those before closing your work account.
