Hello

I am looking into RUM for my organisation. Im currently testing and understanding it at the moment. I have RUM version 2.6.0.9 and I am running the following command in CMD:

"RemoteUpdateManager --channelIds=AdobePhotoshopCS6-13.0"

It says "Starting RemoteUpdateManager" but then it just stop and cancels the command with no exit codes.

I checked the log and it looks like this:

It doesn't get past the UpdaterCore Download Updates section, any ideas?

I'm sorry, but we no longer support the installation or updates of CS6, and it is not listed as compatible with Windows 10 as far as the system requirements are concerned. The download servers do not have these versions of the applications anymore for use with the RUM tool.

You can find more information on supported versions and our support policy on the following page:

Hello,

please can you confirm which version of Photoshop is installed according to the properties of the executable? Also, what operating system are you running?

thanks

Hi Dom

I am currently testing it with CS6 as that is the only version available to me to test with currently as the latest 2022 package of CC is all up to date. Im using Windows 10 20h2.If I can get it to work with CS6, I will look at the latest CC version when the next update is released.

Thanks

I believe the page you cited is out of date, and I will ensure it gets deactivated, since the CS6 versions are unfortauntely no longer supported by RUM.
