RUM returning 2 updater Core failed for CFU

We have an AUSST- server which downloads the fresh and incremental updates for certain Adobe products.

This works.

We have a client with Adobe's RUM and at 2 locations the client-config file created with AUSST.

The only thing i get from RUM is Returncode 2 when i run it as: RemoteUpdateManager.exe in an elevated CMD. It should then update all products.

When i specific ask to update Illustartor (>RemoteUpdateManager --productVersions=ILST -(-action=install))

It also only wants to update Acrobat but exits also with code 2.

 

How to solve this?! I can't make ... from UpdaterCore failed for CFU errorCode(212) curRefId((null)) errorCodeString(U41M1C212).

No, to early. .Override file needs protocol so I generated a new one with "HTTP://servername.domain". RUM seems to work.

Hello,

please ensure you have the latest version of the RemoteUpdateManager.exe (version 3.1.0.3 as shown in the "Details" tab of its properties), and that Acrobat is not running at the time when you are executing the tool.

Is there a log file for Acrobat created in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers" ?

I'll got it working ..... Problem was the Domain tag in the .Overrides file.  it contained <domain>https://https://.....

2 times HTTPS://.

During the creation of the .Overrides file with the AUSST tool i must have entered https://domain.etc.nl and it should have been domain.etc.nl. I'm sure i read that it must have the protocol in it but thats not the case.
