Simplified SAML SSO Login via Direct Link to Adobe Sign-In Page

Sehr geehrtes Adobe-Team,

Dear Adobe Team,
We use Adobe products in an environment with SAML-based Single Sign-On. Currently, users must manually enter their email address on the sign-in page before the SSO process begins. Since this address often differs from their username, it frequently causes confusion and support requests.

We would like to suggest implementing a feature that allows initiating the SSO process directly via a URL – similar to what is possible with Microsoft 365. This would enable us to provide a direct link in our internal portal, eliminating the need for users to enter their email address and taking them straight to authentication.

This feature would greatly enhance user experience and reduce support overhead. Thank you for considering this request!

Hi @artistic_Sunset5295,

Thank you for reaching out. Based on your query, it seems you would like your end users to log in directly to Adobe applications without having to enter their email address first.

Currently, Adobe Creative Cloud sign-in uses an email-first SAML flow to determine the user’s organization. A universal deep link to bypass this email entry step is not available today. However, there are supported methods to provide a seamless one-click SSO experience:

I recommend reviewing the following option:

IdP-initiated tiles for Creative Cloud

  • Set up SAML SSO in Adobe Admin Console (claim and verify your domain, create a Federated ID directory, upload IdP metadata, and assign entitlements).

  • Publish the Adobe enterprise app in your identity provider portal so users can launch SSO directly.

  • For Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), you can add “Adobe Identity Management (SAML)” as an enterprise app, which provides a “My Apps” tile for one-click SSO. This setup requires your domain to be claimed in the Adobe Admin Console, SAML configured, and users provisioned with Federated IDs and product entitlements.

Acrobat Sign deep link
If your request concerns Acrobat Sign, there is a documented URL pattern that can send users directly to your IdP login page without the email prompt. This link can be added to your internal portal for one-click access.

These approaches mirror the convenience available in Microsoft 365 by allowing the identity provider to initiate the login rather than Adobe.

Additionally, I will share your request with our product teams for consideration in future enhancements. Thank you for your feedback and for helping us improve the product experience.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hi Anshul_Nautiyal,

thank you very much for you answer. We tried your approach „Acrobat Sign deep link“ and it works fine!

Anyway there is a limitation which is already documented in the Prerequisites:

Within our Identity- and Access-Management-System this is a drawback since the user needs an assignment two times.

  • First within our IAM System to get access to the Adobe Cloud at all (To get a valid SAML Assertion for accessing the Adobe Cloud).
  • A second time the user needs to be registerted and enabled within the Adobe-Admin-Console

Please have a look at our request to get a solution which works with auto-entitlement.

Yours sincerelly
