Question

Stop of using Adobe Storage Cloud for "for teams" and "for enterprise" organization

Hello!

Now we have an organization account with "for teams" licenses and automatically for our users available Adobe Storage, so they store their files on them.

But we have a question, it is possible to disable Adobe Storage for all of our users?

Also, in the future, we plan to migrate to "for enterprise" licenses to be possible to active Federal Identity with SSO. In the "for enterprise" licenses types also we will be able to disable/enable using Adobe Storage for our users?

Thanks in advance!

@OREST289684737eot It depends on the type of licenses you will get under the Enterprise contract. You might have to set different restrictions as there is no option in the console to disable the storage of CC apps for a certain set of users. You can disable PDF service that will only impact Acrobat users.

To begin with, I would request checking with your Account Manager/Reseller if they can provide the license with 0 GB of storage (if possible).

Hello, @SuJoshi.
We have different types of licenses "for teams" in our account.
If we can disable the PDF service that as I understand correctly will impact only new Acrobat users? How do the existing Acrobat users, how disable online storage for them?

How to disable online storage for users who have Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator and etc. licenses?

Thanks in advance!

For Acrobat license:

Disabling "PDF services" is not available in the Teams contract. It is available under the Enterprise licenses. I think you can customize the installer of Acrobat and deploy it on the user's devices (if the organization manages the machines).

For CC license:

As per the current licensing, there is no option to disable the cloud services and storage for these users.

The nature of a Named User license is to use the services and applications on any device till the time the user is using the correct account to activate the product.

It depends on the type of devices the users use and the environment you have set up. I highly recommend contacting your Reseller/CSM to check an alternate licensing option if you really need to restrict the users from using the cloud storage.

@kglad That page should be locked as the solution is outdated and the linked PDF no longer exists. A lot has changed in regards to Enterprise storage since 2017.
