Student bring-your-own-device

We have an ETLA for Education license setup. I have had multiple professors contact me about options for getting discounted software/ providing software for students needing it for class for a single semester. Since you have to sign a 1 year agreement to get a student version of CC, this doesn't work for a lot of students that only need it for 6 months.

I was looking online and found a couple of things that mention bring-your-own-device options for students, but can't find any detailed information about it. We haven't done anything with this type of licensing before, so we are at a loss.

Does anyone have any information they can share with me about how this is setup, or how it typically works? Or, does anyone know of any way to allow students to purchase the CC for students option with a shorter contract?

    As you have an ETLA I would recommend speaking to your account manager about this. They may be able to advise regarding changes/add-ons to your contract to allow for this kind of flexibility.

    From a technical perspective the 'bring your own device' students would be signing it to activate their software and could self-serve via the Creative Cloud Desktop Application, rather than using device licensing or serialised licensing.
