Type 1 fonts future problems

Goodmorning fellow designers, ive been on the phone with adobe and on the chat because Type 1 fonts will not be supported anymore starting 2023, which will mean if you're using adobe font folio fonts like gill sans, frutiger or helvetica none of these fonts will be supported anymore. Which means that if you're a designer of packinging, magazines, newspapers or inlays for medicine, you will have to search for an alternative yourself and the spacing of the fonts will be completely different. I guess that the persons who decided to stop using these fonts haven't thought about the consequences for designers globally. 

The answer yesterday was, if you use it in pdf of eps you can use the fonts, apparently the support don't use Indesign of Illustrator because we don't put the fonts in contours 😞
