Unable to connect to Adobe Experience/Power Bi

Hello,

A User is unable to connect to either of these despite having an Adobe Analytics account (see attached)

They are able to connect to Adobe Analytics fine, but for some reason they are still getting an error.

Likewise, they are unable to connect to PowerBI via Adobe Analytics. There is no sign in option. They follow the "Get Data", but there is no option to sign in. Attached is an example of what should pop up but isn't

Kind Regards

Hi @qadeer_0514,

Thanks for following up. Glad to hear the issue with connecting to Adobe Experience Cloud is resolved.

Regarding the "Unable to connect" error when connecting Power BI to Adobe Analytics, this appears to be an AEM-related query. I recommend posting your question in the Experience League community: https://adobe.ly/4fN2g9y where experts can assist you further.

Hi @qadeer_0514,

Thanks for sharing the screenshots. This looks like an access or profile mismatch issue.

Please ask the user to verify they’re signed in with the correct Adobe profile and organization:

  • In a browser, click the avatar in the top-right of Experience Cloud and confirm they’re in the organization and profile that actually has the Adobe Analytics entitlement.

  • If they see a banner saying “You don’t have access to the linked application for that organization,” they’re signed in to the wrong org. Switch to the correct one from the avatar menu.

  • If the account has both Personal and Business profiles, sign out completely and sign back in, making sure to select the Business profile with the Analytics license.

Please have them try this and let us know if the issue continues.

Regards,

Hello,

Thank you for the quick reply

After speaking with the User again, it seems they that Adobe automatically connects them to the wrong Org - once corrected - seems to be fine! Thank you

So, the error that remains is related to PowerBI connecting to Adobe Analytics. They get that 'Unable to connect'

Is this something you can also support with?

Kind Regards
