Unable to Download Apps in Creative Cloud Packager

I'm trying to download applications in Creative Cloud Packager. I can select the applications that I'd like to create a package for. However, when I click the download button it downloads for about 20 seconds and then goes back to the screen to select applications. There are no error messages. Then when I click download again, it does the same thing.

Any ideas?

Hi christophers38118599 ,

Try getting rid of Adobe Overrides file from the native location and then restart CCP and try to create the package again.

In Windows XP:

\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0\AdobeUpdater.Overrides

In Windows 7/Vista:

\ProgramData\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0\AdobeUpdater.Overrides

\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\UpdaterResources

In Mac OS X:

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0/AdobeUpdater.Overrides

Thanks, I don't think it is getting far enough to create a useful log. Was there a point at which this did work for you? That would enable us to focus on what has changed.

We do recommend that packaging is done on a separate machine that does not have any other Creative Cloud software installed, as CCP requires a log-in and this can sometimes cause licensing issues. Do you have the option to run CCP in a VM or on a separate clean system?

Failing that I would recommend completely removing CC from the machine where CCP is being used and then running the CC Cleaner Tool

CCP does not pull anything from an AUSST internal update server.

Are you using the current version of CCP? Should be as below.

Thanks,

Yes, that is what I see when I look at the About page.

Version 1.11.0, Build 34

Does a log get created? See Deploy packages for Adobe Creative Cloud for log locations.

Have you been able to use CC Packager previously?

Can you try emptying the cache? Go to the drop-down 'Welcome' menu in the top right and choose Preferences.

I tried clearing the cache and it didn't seem to help. Then - just because I didn't know what else to do - I went to our old AUSST caching server (we no longer use this and pull directly from Adobe) and ran the command to update it.

After the server updated, I reran the Creative Cloud Packager and it made it to 75% but now it gives an error message "An error has occurred during download. Please try again later." How do I know if the CCP is looking at a caching server or pulling directly from Adobe?
