Question

Unable to edit or modify team CC library

I'm a creative team lead with an enterprise subscription, but one of my team members is the library owner/admin. Although our settings show that I'm allowed to write to/modify our shared libraries, I remain unable to do so. I should add that our newest team member is also able to add and modify resources, but I am not.  (Jonathan Joyce)

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for reaching out. Based on your description, it seems like a permission or sync-related issue with your shared Creative Cloud library. Even though your access level appears to allow editing, it’s possible that your local library sync or the permissions on Adobe Cloud haven’t updated correctly.

Please try the following steps:

Sign out and sign back into the Creative Cloud Desktop app.

Ensure your Creative Cloud Libraries are fully synced, you can check this under the “Files” tab in the Creative Cloud app.

Ask the current library owner to remove you from the shared library and re-add you with “Can Edit” permissions.

If you’re using multiple profiles (e.g., personal and enterprise), make sure you’re logged into the correct profile where the library is shared.

Please try these steps and let us know how it goes so we can assist further.

Regards,
^AN
