Unable to install Creative Cloud

Hi

 

I have been trying desperately to install Creative cloud on a Mac. Never thought that it could be so difficult. I really hope someone can help me out here.

 

What usually happens is that the install is very slow and then gets stuck (my Internet is approx. 100 Mb). I then have to abandon the process.

 

I was once able to install it (I don’t know how that happened), but it then said that I did not have the right to access the apps!!! I read up on this on the forum and was advised to disinstall and use Creative Cloud cleaner, which I did. Since then I have attempted to install three more times.

 

Does the fact that I am a student affect this install in some way?

 

Is there something I am missing?

 

I tried calling the helpline, however the quality of the sound from the call centre was appalling and impossible to understand. Adobe has taken my money, but I am without the service I am paying for and bitterly disappointed not to be able to use their wonderful apps
