Question

Unable to reach Adobe Servers P206

Exhaustive attempts have been made to resolve this issue for a single user on our network. The affected Windows 7 PC in question has been on this network for several months, and was previously authenticated with a licensed account. Unrelated work on the Windows profile resulted in the user's Adobe apps being logged out. We have been unable to connect to the Adobe servers since that time.

All attempts to diagnose the cause have failed to deliver a good result. We have disabled the endpoint's antivirus, disabled all UTMs on the firewall for this one machine, attempted a clean installation of Acrobat Pro DC and Adobe Creative Cloud, both resulting in the same failure.

The outgoing traffic from these attempts appears to be uninterrupted, however the connection is reset by Adobe's own servers, which is the most likely cause for the failure.

We have been able to install Acrobat Reader DC, and have logged in with the user's account. One would imagine they would authenticate against the same, however there may be other moving parts which are exclusive to Pro DC.

This issue affects only one of 7 machines on the same physical network. There are no internet connectivity issues known to affect this workstation, after repeated inspection.

The TLS 1.2 fix had already been applied, prior to this incident.

Is it at all possible that the device's IP may be blocked by Adobe's own servers, causing the connection to reset?

Any assistance is appreciated.
