uninstalling AFTER running Creative Cloud Cleaning Tool (oops)
This was my mistake, I guess.
I was removing a few 2015 editions of CC from a PC workstation in order to install the 2018 editions. I thought I could simply run the cleaner tool to remove everything and start fresh, but I should have read the instructions more closely -- apparently I need to uninstall the apps first before using the cleaner tool.
After installing the 2018 editions, I noticed that the 2015 editions were still there, but now Windows does not recognize that the apps are installed on the PC anymore and does not show them on the Uninstall screen. At this point, can I just drag them into the Trash, or does it get dirtier than that. To avoid confusion for the user, I need to remove these so they are not confused by the two versions. Also, I would prefer to not have to "reinstall" 2015 editions over the top of the existing installations and them properly uninstall through Windows.
If I can make a suggestion, I wish Adobe would supply a text file version of the directions for the cleaning tool along with the tool itself. It would be much easier to review the process when we only occasionally use the product.
Thanks in advance.
