Updating to Adobe Reader 11.0.15

My group is trying to update Adobe Reader 11.0.09 to 11.0.15.

Unfortunately you state that "This update requires that Adobe Reader 11.0.14 is installed on your system."

In the past, we've had the base 11.0.09v easily update to .10v, .11v, .12v, .13v, and .14v. We still have accounts using .09v-.13v, how do we fix the issue so they can update straight to 11.0.15v without needing to get .14v first?

Is there any way to get around this issue? We don't want to force two individual updates.

Thank you!

You need to follow the supported update order as described in the Admin Guide. See Administration Basics — Enterprise Administration Guide.

As show in the release notes, .15 is an OOC patch which must be installed over .14. See

11.0.15 Out of cycle update, March 8, 2016 — Acrobat and Adobe Reader Release Notes

Basically, planned updates are cumulative, so all your machines should just install the latest planned update and the last patch.

I appreciate the advice. Looking for a little more information though on how we should go about this.

Any Adobe employees have suggestions on how I would go about updating from older versions directly to 11.0.15v without forcing 11.0.14v?

Now version XI is obsolete, perhaps Adobe are not going to so much trouble. Perhaps you can slipstream the patches into one.
