User is told pdf is corrupt, but others can open ok

I have unistalled and reinstalled adobe software.  Is there something else I can try?

Thank you for sharing the details of Acrobat version user has.

As per the screenshot shared, it is evident that file format of the document she is trying to open is in .doc format which is why she is facing this issue.

 

As an alternative, you may ask the user to download the file from the NAS drive if possible and either open using MS Word or try to convert using Acrobat DC to .pdf version.

She has adobe acrobat DC. 

The PDF is on a shared NAS drive.

 

I just noticed when she is trying to open it shows as a .doc
