VDI Support for Acrobat Professional version 10

I am intending to virtualize the application "Acrobat Professional version 10" and we would like to know few details regarding the application.

  1. Is the application still supported if we virtualize it with Microsoft App-V 4.6 SP1 or Citrix XenApp virtualization? Otherwise, is there any roadmap for future support, and when is the target?
  2. Does the Application’s License Policy support the application if virtualized?
  3. Is the application still supported if installed on Virtual Desktop Environments [VDI/Citrix XenDesktop/Hyper-v]? If Otherwise, is there any roadmap for future support, and when is the target?
  4. Does the Application’s License policy support the Application on Virtual Desktop Environment? If not then is there any license policy that supports the Application on Virtual Desktop Environment?

Thanks again.

Correct answer

The only version of the Acrobat family of products that appears to be supported is Adobe Reader 11.0.01 and later according to the documentation.

It may be worth pointing out that you are working with a version of Acrobat that is superceded. It may still be supported but new features like Virtual support won't be appearing in it, we can be fairly sure.

I was wondering which version of Acrobat Professional will VDI be fully supported then?
