W10 install not compatible MacOs isnatll failed
The International Guild of Knot Tyers has TWO charity licences[1] for Creative Cloud. For several years, I do not know how many, Creative Cloud (CC) has been used to produce our magazine.
I have agreed to join the NEW editorial team and will and am required to edit the drafts of the magazine.
The app works on my iPhone and I can comment using a web browser[2] however I am aged and my sight is far from how it was even 10 years ago and the web variant neither allows me to download the file as a PDF nor to print it directly[3], nor have I found a method of removing the comments so that I CAN at least see and print it
I therefore had planned to install CC on my MacBook have come into the FREE use ‘is it free or not’ issue[4] the CC and attempted installation failed when the installer assumed that KeyChain was in use; it recovered but even failed when I entered the MacOS password going back to key chain
And the final insult I can no longer log into the Adobe site now. no account associated with this address
And I have to add my comments BY 4th Feb
The best solution for me would be to use the web app[5] and to be able to print it[6]
Problems (now passed by)
I installed CC to my W10 tower however InDD (which I believe I require to e.g. comment) indicated that my 64 bit install of W10 is not compatible
[1] Which I believe allows them support other than Community?
[2] And it is possible to comment mark-up etc with that but difficult to read, cannot dowload nor print
[3] I am unable to hide others comments to enlarge the type and my print app is limited to printing the first i.e. visible page (It is only the visual of an/the app running on a server such that it cane also not save it as a PDF as only saves the one page)
[4] Adobe say elsewhere that the app(s) can be downloaded and used free of charge however I have not been able to do so getting passed the 14 days free trial where you will charge so …
[5] No app on any of MT devices
[6] could at least THAT be enabled?
