We are using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, Windows 7 with IE 9. When we attempt to open a .pdf file we are prompted to "Save", "Save As" or "Open". Is there a way to eliminate this prompt? It does not seem to matter whether we are openning through IE of directly from Adobe. We are attempting to view images from a web based application.

This all depends on if your web app is serving the PDF files with the correct MIME settings.  IIS usually does this without configuration.  Your Desktop could also be misconfigured and it is configured to download the file instead of loading it in place inside the web browser.
