Whether to prevent installation on User PC with setup files held after Flash Player EOL

Hello!

Our company is servicing with some Flash content.

Most of them have been replaced with HTML5,

but there are still things left.

So, we need to maintain the service until next February(2021).

Of course I know there is no Flash available in the browser.

We serve through a dedicated viewer with a chromium browser inside.

The Chromium version inside the viewer still supports Flash Player,

so we need to make sure we can extend the service for about 2 months.

In my opinion, unless the user deletes the Flash player, I don't think there's any problem inside our viewer.

Finally, what I'm curious about is,

Flash player setup file downloaded before the EOL,
Is it possible to install or is adobe preventing the installation.

If so, are you saying that even a new installation is impossible after EOL?

I'm seeing a lot of ideas for sidestepping EOL for Flash, but these are a high risk strategy, often not even tested. Adobe have not disclosed exactly what they plan to do, but it has certainly been said that it will not be available for download, and that recent downloads have a kill switch. Adobe's official recommendation is that you liaise with their partner, Harman, about extended support. There is a substantial cost for this.

Bear in mind that installing Flash Player for others requires a redistribution license, and it's not clear that, if you don't have one, you will be able to get one; certainly they will run out and not be renewed.
