Will running out of generative credits and slowing things down still work with the API?

Reading everywhere that running out of credits won't stop but rather slow things down? will this also work with the API or will running out of credits cause this to stop?

Thanks in advance. Cheers!

Hi gifted_Dewdrop0838,

Thank you for reaching out.

When you run out of generative credits with Adobe, the functionality does not cease entirely; however, performance may be slowed. This means that while the services remain accessible, the speed and responsiveness could be impacted. This applies to both standard usage and API calls.

For more detailed information on generative credits, please refer to this article.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

When you post a question you always need to tell the Adobe program you are using
There are MANY programs in a full subscription, plus other non-subscription programs
Please post the exact name of the Adobe program you use so a Moderator may move this message to that forum

@John T Smith, they are talking about the Firefly API.  Probably an Enterprise question as the API is only available for Enterprise users.
