you must upgrade/update your system to install after effects cc

One of our users is trying to upgrade his After Effects cc from 2017 to 2018 version.  He has Windows 10 version 1803, 16Gb RAM, SSD drive with plenty of free space (Over 250GB), and he is getting the error message:

"you must upgrade/update your system to install after effects cc"

when trying to get the latest version of After Effect CC.  Is this not compatible with the newest Win 10 feature update or is there something I am missing?

    Hi Cpladmin,

    As you have mentioned one of your users is not able to update his After Effects CC to the latest version.

    To check and confirm if all the system requirements are met please refer to: After Effects System Requirements.

    Thanks for your answer, but as you can see from the original question, he meets the requirements stated.

    Cpladmin, are you using the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application to install the After Effects CC update on the Windows 10 computer?  You can find information regarding the process at Learn how to download your Adobe Creative Cloud apps .
