Hello,I have several questions.First, the cyhnic in me wants to make sure this Flash Player Install Manager that shows up on my Mac is indeed from Adobe and not a surprise trojan file that found it's way to my computer.Second, what steps should I take to convert my old Flash work to HTML 5. After December 31, 2020, will there be a way for me to play these old flash files and convert them?Thank you for your help. 

Hello, I am trying to take an assesment given to me by a propective empoloyer and I tested my settings before starting and it says for the adobe flash player:failed unsupported plugin versionI have checked my components and the most recent upload seems to be updated as it says "component not updated" which is said to mean it is on the latest version. I have also changed in my settings to "ask first" for the flash because that is the only other option or it is off and not allowed. And I am on windows 7 and have no access to any other computer. Please let me know if I can fix this. Thank you. 

Hello all, I tried to get this request thru support, thru the Flash Distribution page, being Flash Player is EOL 1/11/21.I am a Mac Admin.  I use ARD - Apple Remote Desktop to support and update Macs, in mass, daily. The "installer" for Flash Player, in the Admin Distribution page was always a ".pkg" that allowed me to install to the 200-300 Macs we use in our School District.  However, the "uninstaller" is only a ".dmg" download, that is a ".app" which doesn't allow me/us to send out an uninstall, to multiple Macs, at a time.  Anyone have a link to a ".pkg" to uninstall?? I went thru 7 people, and they then told me to post to the Community Board.  Thanks!

So my question is: will flash files exported in .exe format continue to work after stopping Flash Player. Look into ruffle.rs it intends to let flash function on sites normally and even extend to mobile devices. There are a few issues but they are working on it. If you have your own flash site please let me know what that site of yours is. If you have the entire swf file as in it needs no internet connection to function right then users could also download the file and play it with a standalone SWF / Flash Player. As in an independant program for swfs and not a plugin for your browser. Just load the swf file with the player. Might even be able to do so with your mobile device too if you get the right player. No single independent flash player plays all swfs but a good one should play most of your swfs more or less as originally intended. We were notified we'd exceeded our monthly data cap, and when analyzing the data usage found Adobe Flash accounted for over 5.5GB in one go. And again, today, I see another 5.2GB uploaded by Adobe Flash. We've scanned the computer and found nothing. We suspect it is part of a game or some kind of side-channel gaming communication link, maybe gaming streaming. This has been met with copious denials from the specific user, of course. 😉  1) any idea what this could be?2) any idea how to block it at the router (Asus RT-AC68U) without blocking Adobe in whole (my wife uses Photoshop and other tools). Thanks,

if a supported browser with flash support is still installed, will i be able to run flash content if i install an older version?on the adobe blog it mentions this "To help secure users’ systems, Adobe will block Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021." how does this block works? when did adobe put the kill switch?

Many game sites translate games to = game clients(centers) where the type of browser games that work on the flash player will continue to work in the client on the old flash player-there was a vps block the flash player on such clients (centers) gaming?

I'm confused and worried about this being a scam. Either that or it's just too complicated for me. What are the repercussions of ignoring it and not uninstalling FP. Hello, I have just downloaded the Flash Player uninstall program and uninstalled Flash Player as instructed including a restart of my Win10 Laptop. Unfortunately when I attempt to delete the contents of this folder as instructed C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash I am unable to delete the contents of this folder as its saying that I do not have permission? Please can anyone offer advice on this? Thanks

A games company who run browser and mobile games called 'Plarium' use flash currently, they have not bothered to switch to HTML5 for browser games.  Instead after Jan 1st and beyond they are going to continue use their own installer which uses adobe pepperflash extension. Is this safe? and also what will happen on Jan12th killswitch to apps using pepperflash extension? Thanks
