3dsmax substance2 material with Corona 8

Hi,

 

I have been using Corona 8 since it's launch. Today I tried to use for the first time 3dsmax substance material with Corona 8 but it didn't work. I got the error that I don't have Corona as renderer. So substance plugin does not work with Corona 8? It worked just fine with Corona 7. I just would not like to go back to Corona 7.

    Hi, we currently don't support Corona 8, but it's something we want to support in the future. So, could you help us understand how important it is to have this feature to use the plugin?

    Hi,

    Substance2 material with corona 8 would be really important for me. I have tons of scenes made with corona 7 and substance2 material. Now that I upgraded to corona 8 I can't use older scenes with corona 8 cause substance2 material is not supported. I have to revert back to corona 7 just for the substance2 material to work. So for me substance2 material plugin and corona 8 working together would be really important. I would not like to drop substance out of my pipeline but if all future corona updates are like this, I don't know.
