Question

How to export SBSAR files to open up in CLo3D , and have the colour & scale be changeable?

Hi all, this is Clo3D integration related: Im new to 3D Designer, have made a few fabrics watching tutorials and playing around, but I don't know what export settings etc to apply. My goal is to be able to change the colour, and scale of the fabrics pattern when brought into Clo3D. How do I go about doing that?

Just to give you an example:

I made a dirt ground texture following the substance academy series tutorials. But when I open the .sbsar up in Clo, my the texture is completely flat (see image)
The other .sbsar files I made didnt even show the colour, so not sharing screenshots of those here. Only the dirtground texture's colour has shown colour so far.

Hi @ayeshamakesit and thanks for your patience.

First of all, we have now a template especially made for Clo3D, so I would suggest to make sure you're using it to avoid any issue inside Clo3D.

Secondly, the problem inside Clo3D seems to be the Displacement not being active inside the editing view, which is perfectly normal. As you sent as a reply, the Displacement inside Clo3D is only active in the rendering view (probably for the optimisation).

With that being said, the materials you're showing me don't appear to have an active Normal map, which is a little bit more uncommon. Unfortunately, I am not a Clo3D expert, therefore I am moving your post to our "Plug-ins" community, but Substance being natively integrated inside Clo3D, they are probably the most able to answer you if the problem persists.

Have a nice day,

I started usig the the Clo Template. Still not working though.
Perhaps there is somethign off about my export settings, is that it?
I have attached my sbsar , sbs & a snapshot of the render on Clo

Would be greta if you could reroute me to the plug-ins community.
