Hi, I am using the Substance 3D blender addon and I downloaded a material I need but I can't import it through addon in blender. The material is .spsm file and is not showing up while loading materials.

Is there any way to import .spsm file or maybe convert it to .sbar so I can use that material?

Hey there, I know I'm 2 years late to the party, but I just downloaded the Substance 3D blender plugin and had the same question, and from what I could gather, ".spsm" files can only be opened with Substance Painter. So you should download the ".sbsar" from the community assets for it to work with the plugin.

but as someone explained in this reddit post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Substance3D/comments/ryfrzo/how_to_make_spsm_files_compatible_with_blender/
apparently there is a work around, but since I'm not familiar with Substance Painter, I don't know how exactly to go about it.
hope this helps
cheers
