Substance 3D plugin for Blender 4.3 not working

I use to be able to use the plugin in previous version of Blender. Since upgrading to Blender 4.3 I either get a black material, or can not get the plugin to work. I have unloaded the plugins, and down loaded the latest version available. Has any one who experianced this have any recomendations?

Thank you!

There is a way around the problem if you want to use Substance 3D in Blender 4.3. If you have a look in the Shader Editor, you will see that the nodes not are connected. I use to connect those nodes and then the material works.

Hi. @Storaforsen , we recently updated the plugin to addon version 2.2.0 and tools 2.1.1. Could you let us know if you are using that version? If so, could you please share the output of the system console when the material network is created?
If you're on windows, you can open the system console via Widow > Toggle system console in Blender. Otherwise, you can open the system console on Mac and Linux by starting the executable from via terminal.

Hi @Wojtek P , the addon is current not compatible with Blender 4.3.

We do have a build ready to release that will fix 4.3 compatibility, we're just awaiting the green light to move forward with that release process. We will make an announcement post here on the forums and on our Discord when that goes live. In the mean time, please use latest 4.2 LTS, as that should be compatible.

best,
Aldo

Sure @Wojtek P , my soft estimate is about a week if there are no hicups. Right now we're just checking that the changes are approved to merge so we can formally begin the process.
