Under plugins in photoshop, I have substance 3d materials, how did it get here, and how do I remove?

The plugin enables the use of materials directly in Ps and unlocks many different workflows while boosting productivity. @SCLAPHAM - The plugin is in the beta version and cannot be removed. It's a new plugin and for now, we don't have the ability to remove it. We will look into it in future.

I was told that this is part of photoshop somehow... IN a future release hopefully they can remove, for I beleive its old... Adobe please confirm this?
