Question

Cannot edit, reply, or do anything with my own post in the discussions

Hi, I posted here https://community.adobe.com/t5/framemaker-discussions/structured-document-suggestions-for-header-new-page-reminder-step/m-p/14620069#M83867 ...and I want to reply to the people trying to help and to also edit my post since the formatting got screwed up in the process of posting it. I also can't click on my own profile to see what I posted and to edit my profile. Am I doing something wrong? I feel like I'm usually pretty literate when it comes to these things. Thanks.

Hi. I'm not sure you did anything wrong. I'm thinking maybe it was just a glitch when you created the account, because I've never seen someone here without a name. If someone doesn't want to choose a user name, they are assigned the name Default followed by a unique identifier.

If you click your avatar on this page, you can see what you have already posted.

And from that page if you again click your avatar (I'm pointing at mine, but where yours would be), you can choose Manage Account and should be able to add your name. If you can't, I would abandon this account and just go create a new one.

Sorry - new people posting don't have edit rights until some magic number of posts have been created (since I became a moderator, I haven't checked what that number is).
But you should be able to make changes to your own profile - like giving yourself a name that would appear beside your profile picture. What happens when you click on the picture? That should launch the profile (at least it does for me).

Edit - here's the page I get when I click on your picture - https://community.adobe.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/37421468
