Time to start entering these. If you are unsure about whether FM has the feature yet, please do some research and figure it out before posting.

Please don't post requests for assistance in here, either.

Cheers,

Sean

Horace,
Please send me e-mail (liggett@w3az.net). I have hundreds of equations to enter and need to talk to someone on how to do it.

MathType is better as far as appearance, but using it in Frame has a limitation in that the equations have no baseline.

MathType exports to MathML, the Mathematical Markup Language, a seemingly logical extension to the other markup languages Frame supports ... but Frame doesn't import it.

Jim,

Having a math degree, I found the FM equation thing not all that bad. You do have to know pretty much what you want before you start.

What other package would you consider?

PLEASE, give us an equations formatter (Tex or even WordPerfect). When I discovered the intense pain of entering equations, I almost abandoned FM and am still considering doing so.

Native support for MacOS X! How hard can this be given that it is already ported to other unix operating systems?

No to a grammar check unless it can really be done. Word grammar is about like a retarded 7th grader.

<Plus, auto spell check and grammer check while you type options (just like MS Word X ).><br /><br />I agree. Auto spell check is so common now that I really miss it when I open Frame. Add it in, but give us a toggle option.

I'd have to say no to a grammer check feature -- I've never found this feature very useful; its more cumbersome than helpful (in my humble opinion anyway)!

I say fix the bugs, provide more comprehensive tracking tools (other than change bars which are almost no help identifying the changed text, and non-existent for deleted text), and a few levels of multiple undo.

That would be enough for me to consider upgrading...

All the above. Especially, OS X native

Plus, auto spell check and grammer check while you type options (just like MS Word X ).
