Selecting Change Bars does not remove all of them from doc

I keep having trouble with change bars staying in the document - it's very random. FM17 and I am all patched up. I shouldn't have to go page by page to make sure the change bars are removed.

    Hi Urthie:

    How are you removing them?

    To remove all change bars (automatic or manual):

    Format > Document > Change Bars > Clear all Change Bars

    Yes, that's how I cleared them, but there are always some that just won't clear, not sure what the issue is with FM17.

    Hi Urthie2011:

    And how are you adding them? Automatic with edits, or via a paragraph or character tag? If you are adding them via a tag, and then Clear All Change Bars, you'd be overriding the tag definition. If you later update the tag, and remove overrides, they would return. Could that be what is happening?
