Fresco Frozen but not really - can draw but nothing else

Just bought this ipad and pencil yesterday. Brand new. 64gb. (32gb used - no other apps open)

Been drawing with Fresco and this started happening last night. I just drew the black border around the yellow oval and now I can't switch tools or change layers or undo or exit back to home page or anything BUT I can still draw lines and erase them so it's not frozen entirely. Any ideas?

    Sorry to hear about this experience. Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the problem so we can investigate this further? Also, kindly share some more information, like the exact version of the OS and Fresco installed on your iPad.

    I can do a screen recording but did you watch the video? More or less the same thing. iOS 15.7 and most recent version of Fresco, downloaded yesterday.
