I’m glad it’s not me, but I know too well, in interface design people can get used to something, it doesn’t mean it was better… Usually there is no better… just how you adjust to it. It seems like the ability to set the tool bars where you want in iOS would be greatly appreciated. As a leftie I know I pretty much never like where anything is! Anyway dev team, pls don’t take the feedback to heart, we appreciate your work, I’ve found a lot of to die for features that weren’t in the app a year ago, so you’ve clearly been doing great work for a long time.
I was just struggling with the paint brushes, I get overwhelmed every time I open it, it’s like when someone asks you to tidy your room and all you can see is a million things to do and no idea where to start, my heart freezes, it’s not pleasant at all, surely I’m not the only adhd artist that feels that way?. If pixel and vector are separate, it’s just set and forget. and yes, I set favourites. But I still have to open this massive panel and choose from it.
but mostly it’s my disorientation after watching tutorial videos from last year and I can’t find the feature or tool they’re talking about. And when I looked a couple of weeks ago all the official adobe video tutorials were out of date as well… this makes things very discouraging for me as a user and I wish I hadn’t let the auto update start.
anyway still waiting for my new Apple Pencil in the mail so haven’t gotten into the app the way I wanted yet…
In the 20+ years Ive used Adobe products I had my tools on the right or the left, but NEVER on top. I thought my cat screwed up my settings when he sat on my iPad but alas, it was Adobe. PLEASE fix this travesty.
This update is very difficult to use. Before I was able to keep one hand on the pen and the other hand on the buttons changing tools. It was very efficient, easy and user friendly. Now the app is honestly RUINED. I have 1000 images to make and each one takes me an hour. I’m writing a book. I need this app fixed immediately. Or please at least make it an option. It could be a toggle for horizontal/vertical tool drawer users.
This latest update has made Fresco cumbersome to use and is now an impediment to efficiency. They need to revert back to retain users or they will look else where.
This is really baffling. Do you realise that by doing this, you’re hindering the work of people who actually use Fresco for a living? First of all, I really don’t understand why you’ve made such drastic changes when there was absolutely no need or requirement for them. Besides, why not let us decide which layout suits us best? Even just for a trial period, to see who switches to the new one and who sticks with the old layout! The new layout of the tools makes no sense, and what’s more, some features that were essential to me—like adding photos—are missing. You haven’t improved the app’s interface at all. You’ve really messed up! Put the old version back!
So true. I have to draw something for a competition to submit it soon. Now I have to figure out the order of my tools instead of focusing on my art piece. It is stressing me out. I can’t imagine the frustration of trying to do your job while dealing with this.
The new update is horrible, roll it back or at least have a setting to change it back!!!! The app is unusable now and the update messes up my muscle memory!
